TCCA Seeks 25 Career Candidates

Applicants Looking For Careers in Construction Are Strongly Encouraged To Apply!

 The Texas Construction Career Academy (TCCA) is looking for 25 highly motivated candidates interested in pursuing a career in the heavy highway construction industry to apply for its upcoming training sessions in Houston, March 18-29, 2019.

Candidates are encouraged to apply online before the March 3, 2019 deadline! Apply Today!

All participants who complete the entire two-week training receive their OSHA-10 certification, Work Zone and Flagger certification (Valid 4 yrs), First Aid/CPR certification (Valid 2 yrs), Estimating and Blueprint Reading knowledge, Preventative Maintenance knowledge and 40 Hours hands on training for the heavy equipment. Job placement assistance will be offered to all those who successfully complete the program

KCS Railroad Replacing Crossing @ 1132 & Old Hwy 90

On Monday, February 11, 2019, Kansas City Southern Railroad will be replacing the railroad crossing at FM 1132 in the vicinity of Old Highway 90 and East Railroad. This crossing will be closed from 7 am- 7 pm, so drivers will need to take an alternate route. KCS anticipates this project only taking one day, but as with all projects of this type, it is subject to change especially if the weather is uncooperative.
